FAQs

What is the attire for the weekend?

Welcome Party - Cocktail

  • Ladies: Cocktail dress or a jumpsuit

  • Gentlemen: Sportcoat & dress pants

Ceremony & Reception - Black Tie Optional

  • Ladies: Formal cocktail dress or a long gown

  • Gentlemen: Tuxedo or a suit and tie

Sunday Brunch - Casual

When in doubt, we encourage our guests to dress on the more formal side. We also kindly request that there be no white attire.

Please keep in mind that August in Colorado can be quite warm during the day, with temperatures dropping as the sun disappears behind the mountains. Please use caution when wearing dark colors for daytime events and ladies, we recommend bringing something to cover up with for chillier weather at night!

What are the parking options for guests driving to the welcome party at Hotel Jerome?

There is paid street parking all over downtown Aspen for guests to utilize. Street parking is free after 6 PM. At Hotel Jerome, there a valet service available. There is also the Rio Grande Parking Plaza, a paid parking structure just 1 block away from Hotel Jerome.

What will the Covid-19 precautions be for the weekend events?

With the changes in vaccination status requirements both nationwide and in Aspen (Pitkin County), we will no longer require guests to be vaccinated prior to the wedding. Should there be another significant event prior to the wedding, please anticipate having to show a negative test or plan to wear a mask during all weekend events.

Please keep in mind that vaccine requirements may vary from place to place, so please check with any hotels, restaurants or stores you plan on visiting while in Aspen.

What will the weather be like?

In August, Aspen temperatures range from 76° during the day to 47° at night on average. We suggest wearing sunscreen during the day and bringing a hat & water bottle with you if you plan to go out on any of the amazing adventures Aspen has to offer.

Since we are in the mountains, temperatures tend to get a bit chilly at night so bring an extra layer for evening events.

Where is the best place to locate a babysitter in Aspen?

To give each of our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children younger than 16 years old.

If you would like to coordinate a babysitter, we recommend Aspen Babysitting Company or Aspen Nannies.
