ACTIVITIES

Aspen Saturday Market

Open on Saturdays from 8:30 AM - 2 PM, the market offers Colorado-grown fruits, vegetables, bread, meats, jams, and more as well as a food court for lunch or a snack. Since 1998 it has been a local's tradition to stroll through the market buying Colorado-grown produce and Colorado-produced artisan products.

Maroon Bells

Maroon Bells is one of the most iconic spots in Colorado and a must see. Visit at sunrise to see one of the most photographed views in the USA. Everything you need to know about visiting the Maroon Bells can be found here.

Independence Pass

Independence pass is a scenic and historic byway winding through the mountains for 32 miles. It is the highest paved state highway over the Continental Divide in Colorado at 12,095 feet. For more details on driving, cycling, or hiking Independence Pass, click here.

Woody Creek Tavern

Bike to woody creek tavern: rent a bike at Aspen Velo and enjoy the ride along the Rio Grande Trail to the Woody Creek Tavern for lunch and the best Margaritas in the Roaring Fork Valley! If your biking legs grow tired, jump on an RFTA bus for the return trip home.
